Are you hearing ringing, buzzing or other noises in your head? You may be experiencing tinnitus - noises created by your own auditory system! Let us help you with a comprehensive tinnitus evaluation so you can understand the possible causes and strategies to manage your symptoms.
EAR WAX REMOVAL
Ear wax is a normal part of your ear and is an integral part of your bodies immune system. However, too much of it and you can end up with blocked ear canals. Ear wax is also problematic for hearing aids and can compromise their performance. We offer ear wax removal and use manual instrumentation, suction, and/or irrigation to help you manage your ear wax problems.
HEARING AID CONSULTATION
Hearing aids and hearing technology are at best confusing! Our consultative approach ensures you have all of the most relevant information to help you decide whether or not hearing aids are an appropriate choice for improving your hearing ability.
AUDITORY PROCESSING DISORDER EVALUATION
Difficulty hearing in background noise or following verbal instructions can be a challenge for both children and adults. If this is something you or someone you know struggles with, they may have challenges with their central auditory system. We offer a full assessment of a person’s ability to process complex sounds and strategies to help them in their daily lives.
HEARING AID FITTING AND ASSISTIVE LISTENING DEVICES
As a local and independent hearing clinic, we can dispense technology from a wide variety of manufacturers, always focusing on whats best for our clients. You will always have a 60 day trial period with any product we fit you with, and we will be seeing you regularly during that time to help you adjust and adapt to your new soundscape.
DIZZINESS AND BALANCE ASSESSMENTS
Anyone who has experienced true vertigo will tell you that it is a debilitating experience! Hearing and balance are related and share similar structures in the brain. In partner with Neuromotion Physiotherapy, we offer a comprehensive hearing and balance assessment and rehabilitation program.
CUSTOM EAR PLUGS
Custom made ear plugs have many uses and provide a comfortable, long-lasting solution for sound dampening. We will assess the correct ear plug for you and ensure you have your ears protected!
